Adding Customer Birth date for Reward – SOP
Purpose: How to add birthdays for customers to have access to claiming birthday rewards. The action must be noted on the Customer’s Account profile in Shopify for our records.

- Access to Annex Cloud

Time Per Action: 5 Minutes
- Log in to Annex Cloud
- Locate the Member Report
3. Click on User ID to access the customer account.
4. To confirm if the customer profile was not completed prior to the birthday, check Recent Activities
( in order for customers to have birthday rewards available on the first day of their month their account profile needs to be completed before the month has started). If it was completed after the month began then we will need to edit the birth date to trigger the reward to be available for customers to claim.
5. To add customer birthday click edit.
6. The birth date needs to be entered as of today’s current date with all 0000 for the year.
Example (5/13/0000) or (0000/5/13) then SAVE.
The year will automatically default to 0001, a congratulations window will appear once the update has been completed and the reward will be available for the customer to redeem on their account.
7. You can now update the birthday to the correct day/year.
8. Go back to the customer’s profile in Shopify and add a note in the timeline section of their profile for our records.

*** When customer is redeeming Birthday Reward on phone, please advise them they need to scroll all the way down to see the reward code. Otherwise, once they exit out they will loose code.

Thank you for providing us with your birthday information.
Your date of birth has been updated and your reward will appear on your dashboard under the rewards tab. Please log in to your rewards account using the link below to locate the rewards tab, you will be able to view and claim your birthday reward at the bottom of the page.

In the future, your birthday award will appear on your dashboard on the first day of your birth month and will be redeemable for 30 days from that date.
Please confirm if you have redeemed your birthday reward. Otherwise, please do so before the end of the month to prevent the code from expiring.
