 Is Morphe Face palette 8F safe for nursing?

All our products are safe and have been developed, manufactured, and packaged in compliance with the laws, 

regulations, and guidelines applicable in each country in which they are sold. If you are pregnant or nursing 

and have any concerns about cosmetic products or ingredients, you should discuss these with your healthcare

 provider.

Is it paraben-free, cruelty-free, free of SLS and sulfates, fragrance-free, free retinyl/retinoid, and gluten-free?

The 8F palette is free-from claims for all above (paraben, cruelty, SLS/Sulfates, Fragrance, Retinyl/retinoid), 

with exception of gluten-free. RE: Gluten-free – though we advised in the past whether or not our products

 were formulated with ingredients known to contain gluten, this isn’t something we request from our

 manufacturers, nor review/test or certify for. As such, if there’s any concern from a consumer about potential 

gluten exposure issues, we recommend that they speak to their doctor for any definitive statements on

 those issues related to potential gluten-containing ingredients.

Are Faux Filler Perfecting Concealer & Skin Perfecting Blurring Tint oil free?

Yes, both the concealer and blurring tint are oil-free.

 Do Morphe products contain alcohol such as ethanol or methanol or even denatured ethanol?

Alcohol is sometimes used in our products for any one of a number of different functions; and when used, will

 be listed in the ingredient list.

Can MORPHE X NYANE FIERCE FAIRYTALE 6-PIECE COLOR PENCIL SET be used in the eye area?

All shades in the NYANE Fierce Fairytale Color Pencil set contain colorants that the US FDA does not 

consider to be safe for use in the eye area cosmetics. Due to this, we recommend only using it in the lip 

area.

Response from the team:

The safety of all of our products is evaluated and confirmed prior to placement on the market. Heavy 

metals (including nickel) are never intentionally added to any of our products. Unavoidable traces might 

be present as a result of the various colorants that are used, but they pose no safety risk and meet the 

heavy metals limits imposed by various regulatory bodies around the world. If you have a question based 

on a severe allergy or other medical condition relating to any of these metals, we urge you to consult 

your doctor before using this, or any product, for the first time.

Is the glycerin, phenoxyethanol, or tocopheryl in this product is made from coconut or palm?

Response from the team: 

Our manufacturer was able to confirm that only glycerin is derived from RSPO-certified palm oil. 

The continuous setting mist contains no ingredients that are derived from coconut.

Is the Morphe 7-piece rose gold vegan brush set vegan?

Based on the product webpage, the bristles are synthetic, so it could be vegan. We don’t really have a 

ton of visibility into the process the vendors use to color the brushes, so I’m really not sure if it contains 

carmine, but I wouldn’t think they would use carmine for the ferrule since it's metal. Since this brush set

 uses old glue, we cannot claim it to be vegan even though the bristles are synthetic.

Do the Lisa Frank beauty blenders have latex in them?

Per our vendor, the sponge has no latex in it. The sponge material is hydrophilic polyurethane.

The natural bristles for JH05 are made out of goat hair.

We do not test our products on animals. And some of our products use palm oil-derived ingredients.

labeled that way because the product was made alongside other products that contain Carmine?

Only specific shades in this palette actually contain carmine – Melt Hearts, Ready to Mingle, Fancy

 This -  but we can’t guarantee there isn’t any cross-contamination between the shades once they are 

packed into the palette and shipped.

Confirming we don’t test our products on animals? Also, do we use palm oil in some of our products?

In almost all instances, the glycerin used in our products is not derived from animals. There may 

be some exceptions in older Morphe products. The best way to be sure is to stick to any products that

 we designate as vegan – I know we have this on the website, not 100% sure how we go about identifying

 vegan products in-store. But even with that, anything not designated as vegan is typically due to the

 presence of carmine or beeswax; it is not typically related to more common ingredients that have 

been known in the past to be derived from animals. If there are any specific products they are interested

 in knowing more about, we can review them and advise.

Where does the mica in your products originate from (the country which mica is mined from)?

We have manufacturers from all over the world that all have their own individual supply chains that 

manage both synthetic and non-synthetic mica, so I can’t provide a blanket answer to the question 

posed by the consumer. We do, however, ask our manufacturers that use non-synthetic Mica to confirm

 that their mica supplier conforms to the Responsible Mica Initiative.

“Not meant for the eye area” means that the pressed pigment should be used on the face (checks, etc.) rather than the eye area. The reason for the designation is due to regulatory restrictions on colorants in the US and is not based on safety testing.
